This wiki is the first attempt to realize a great vision: Interconnecting and coordinating in a non-hierarchical, cooperative and interactive way all kinds of activities for a truly peaceful and multicolored earth! There are so many of such, from peace fires to G8 protests, from freeing animals to buying parts of the rainforest, from freedom-of-movement to impeach-bush, from tribal living to squatting, from free schools to thwarting nuclear transports and so on and so on and so on….
Any of which alone can't change too much, but all of which together are an unbelievable power! We want to know about each other, we want to support and complement each other, to benefit and learn from each other - I suppose.
The aim is organizing ourselves, getting independent from tha insane system and finally building an alternative structure replacing any (need for a) government. We can! We have (are) the power! We are pretty many and we are qualified. But we lack of a structure, because we don't accept hierarchies. Well, the good news is, not all structures must be hierarchical.
This wiki wouldn't be the technical tool to do it, its not more than an illustration of the idea, the tool would be developed when the circumstances will allow. A tool for exactly this, for relating and interconnecting natively and contextually in a non-hierarchical and flexible way any information fed into the structure. Overlapping contents automatically create relations without adding complexity. This tool is not a dream (piletech), but its not ready yet.
The second aspect of tha vision is relating information. There are so many informations, day after day after day …and mostly they remain unrelated. Doing publically what I do in my mind, relating any fucking (sorry) peace of information that reaches my brain to all which I know already, is what is required I believe for becoming even more and still more people, until we'll be so many, that the remaining system would be meaningless and not be able to damage us anymore. Maybe I dream. But for me its so clear, that I believe if 'people' - and I mean the broad mass - would be enabled to access related information, instead of pieces of a puzzle, predigested by the henchmen and -maids of tha very system, they would -at least- be much more open to a change.
The Name:
multiColored was the second choice after something with Rainbow, because Rainbow is of course a standing expression since 30 years, so multicolored doesn't feel a plagiat, is not making confusion with the Rainbows, but is still close enough to express the kindredship and I start to like it. What do You think?
(German) Bemerkung:
Bei den deutschsprachigen Texten, sofern sie von mir (übersetzt) sind, wirst du z.T. ungewohnte Wortschöpfungen bemerken. Das liegt daran, dass sich alle gängigen Lösungsversuche des -Innen-Problems (so wie in BäckerInnen) für mich unbefriedigend anfühlen, und ich mir die Freiheit rausnehme, mich diesbezüglich an garkeine Regeln zu halten und einfach intuitiv zu formulieren. Wenn das eina wie 'ne Vergewaltigung der Sprache vorkommt (was ich nachvollziehen kann), so sei ihrm gesagt, ich nehme mir die Freiheit raus, da ich mich von der Sprache ebenfalls vergewaltigt fühle, schon seit 20 Jahren. (-Innen!) Wer weiss, wenn das alle tun, dann kristallisiert sich vielleicht nach 'ner Weile eine gemeinsame schöne Ausdrucksweise heraus. :)
